YouTube is resting the new feature Viewer-Created Shorts featuring comments. The new feature allows users to take a comment from any YouTube Shorts video that they are watching and create an entirely new YouTube Shorts video out of it.
Today I am explaining to you the YouTube new feature to turn YouTube Shorts Comments into YouTube Shorts. You have to read this post till the end to know more about the new Create Short videos out of other Comments.
YouTube’s ability to Create Short Videos out of other comments
The YouTube team has introduced a new experiment feature that will soon be available to a select number of users on Android and iOS. With this experimental feature, users will be able to use a comment from any Shorts video they are watching to create a new Shorts video on YouTube. As Per YouTube Team’s Support Page, YouTube called this feature “Viewer-created Shorts Featuring Comments.”
YouTube Team said, “While creators are already able to reply to comments (posted on their own content) with a short, we want to explore offering viewers the opportunity to create content from comments as well.” This feature is tested for a limited number of users on Android and iOS globally allowing them to use a comment from the video they are watching to create Shorts.
The Google-owned company has also mentioned a few limitations of this feature like Creators will not have the ability to control which comment users choose to create a shorts of. However, YouTube said that Creators as well as the author of the comments won’t be notified when a user creates a new short using a comment from their uploaded Short.
Also, the creators can’t prohibit their comments from being featured in a Short, unless comments on their videos are completely disabled. If a user creates a short video out of a Shorts comment, the Short will appear in the Shorts feed and on the Viewer’s channel page.
