YouTube is introducing new Unique Handles for Channels. It will soon release the ability for content creators to choose the handle for their channels. The Content Creators can choose the unique handle for their channels. Users will receive the email when they are able to choose the unique handle for their channel.

YouTube will be rolling out the ability to choose a handle for all channels over the coming weeks. Users can choose a unique handle for their channels. If any content creators already have their personalized URL like www.youtube.com/hogatoga then YouTube reserves this for them as their channel handle.

Also, if the users don’t want to use the reserved handles by YouTube then they can easily change their handles. Every YouTube channel will have a unique handle that it making it easier for fans or users to discover content and interact with creators they follow or subscribed to on YouTube.

The new Handles will appear on the YouTube channel page and Shorts so they would be instantly recognizable by their followers. YouTube said in the email, “starting on 14 November 2022, if you haven’t yet selected a handle for your channel, YouTube will automatically assign you a handle, which you can change in YouTube Studio if you’d like to.

The new Handle would soon be faster to mention each other in Comments, Community posts, Video Descriptions, and more. YouTube also said that the Content Creators can be shouted out a mentioned in comments or tagged in the video title helping them to increase visibility and reach new audiences.
