WhatsApp text formatting tools feature
The new feature has been discovered in the Android beta version 2.24.2.9. The new text formatting tools feature is added to the existing bold, italic, and strikethrough formatting options. Users can format their text messages to Bold, Italic, and strikethrough using existing formatting tools.
There are three formatting options in the new text formatting tools. These formatting tools are “Code block”, “Quote block”, and “Lists”. Users can style their messages with the new formatting tools and also improve their communication experience.

- Code Block: The new “Code Block” feature is making the sharing and reading of lines of code much more convenient and readable for users on this platform. It is useful for software developers, programmers, and the tech industry who share code snippets with others.
- Quote Block: The second formatting tool is the “Quote” feature will help users refer back to specific messages or responses in a chat. The new text formatting tool Quote is different than the current quote messages feature that lets users highlight a certain portion of text.
- Lists: The third formatting tool is “Create text lists” which allows users to simply create a list of items on the platform.
The new ability to format the text is currently rolling out for the Android beta testers. The new text formatting tools feature is available on the WhatsApp beta for Android beta version 2.24.2.9.
