YouTube releases new pinch-to-zoom feature
YouTube the video streaming platform is bringing some new features for mobile and Web users. It is bringing the two important features pinch-to-zoom and video navigation alone with these features. The pinch-to-zoom feature allows users to zoom in and zoom out of the video. Currently, you have to keep your fingers on the screen to keep the video zoomed in.
YouTube has also released changes to the video navigation called precise seeking. The precise seeking feature allows users to easily find an exact part in a video that they want to see. Users can swipe up on the video to see a row of thumbnails on mobile and drag the cursor to see a row of thumbnails on Desktop.
This is really very helpful feature to navigate to an exact part of the video you want to see a particular point. The precise Seeking feature will soon be available for mobile and Web users.
It also introduces the new “ambient mode” a new color effect that dynamic color sampling to match the background color to match the video and an updated dark theme. The new Ambient mode will be available on the mobile and web with the YouTube dark theme and also available on the playlists.
