WhatsApp two-step verification prevents spammers to use your account.
To provide more security everywhere it is developing the two-step verification for Desktop/web users. Users will be able to Enable and Disable the two-step verification on the Desktop/web. The two-step verification feature for Desktop/Web is currently under development but it will roll out this feature soon.
