After a year of so many teasers, occasional leaks, and clues, finally the Nothing phone (1) will be released at a live-stream on July 12. Nothing, founded by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei and has set a launch date for the company’s first smartphone.

The launch event “Nothing(event): Return to Instinct” will take place (8:30 PM IST) on July 12 at 16:00 BST. It will be a virtual event that will be broadcast live on YouTube and the official website of Nothing.

Nothing Phone (1) releases What can we expect from ?

Nothing has been revealed about what it has in store for all its buyers of its first smartphone, which was released in March. In a recent interview, CEO Pei discussed some of the phone’s key design features, indicating that it will have a recycled aluminum chassis and a transparent back.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and wireless charging are among the other additional features. On the other hand, other details haven’t been discussed or released by the company yet.

What did the company revealed more about the Nothing Phone (1)?

Earlier this month in a tweet, the company released many additional information about the smartphone. The CEO stated that there will be no chin and the smartphone will support wireless charging. Along with this, the forthcoming smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon processor and it will have a transparent back. The processor will most likely be Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor.

Nothing phone (1) will be quite similar to a standard Android as the first look of the software – Nothing OS was revealed by Nothing during the event. However, dot-matrix elements can be found throughout the user interface.

The phone (1) is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, have 50MP back cameras, have a 90Hz display, and support fast charging. To have a better understanding of Nothing’s first smartphone, it’s best to wait until the July 12 event.

About previous launch and recent launch

In late 2021, a moderately successful debut of Bluetooth earphones took place. Carl pei’s first hardware device was nothing but the ear (1) Bluetooth earphones. The second but first smartphone launch will be Nothing phone (1), an addition to a Nothing range.
