The BGMI season is on, and the semifinals of one of the most prominent competitions, BGMI Multiverse Series 2024, came to an end on January 12. The teams participating in the same played a total number of 20 matches.

Out of that, the top 16 teams have been shortlisted for the finals. Well, now we know that we are a little late to the party as the final of the same has already started on January 13. But here we are with all the information that you need to know for the mind-bending competition between the legendaries. The final of the same will go on for a total number of five days.

As for the start of the event, a total of 24 teams took part in the five-day semifinal event. The table toppers were Global Esports, Soul, and Team Tamilas, while other well-known squads like Gods Reign, Carnival, and Blind got thrown out of the competition. What happened in the semifinals?

The semifinals of the BGMI Multiverse Series 2024 were a rollercoaster ride, without a doubt. Team Tamilas obtained the first rank in the tournament with 259 points in total, bundled with four chicken dinners.

MRIGL was their best player, scoring 40 points on a solo basis. On the other hand, Global Esports was able to secure the second position with 245 points and a whopping five chicken dinners. Their squad member Ninjaboi stole the show with 35 frags.

As for the third position, Team Soul grabbed it with 193 points in total, and Spower was the MVP with 35 kills. The fourth and fifth positions were secured by Medal with 186 points and Chemin Esports with 178 points.

Another popular team named GodLike Esports got the eighth rank in the competition with 175 points, coupled with two chicken dinners. Apart from that, Orangutan and Entity emerged at the eleventh and thirteenth positions. The last two final sports were held by TWM (15th position with 140 points) and Team XSpark (16th position with 133 points).

The top 16 teams that made it to the finals are going to have a nail-biting competition without a doubt. It will be amazing to see who emerges at the top, as there are high chances of underdogs claiming the throne this time.

Speculations are that Team Tamilas and Global Esports will be able to maintain their dominance in the game, but it cannot be said with complete surety. Whoever comes out victorious in the finale will get an amount of 10 lakh rupees, which is insane and a super motivating factor.
