Dell’s upcoming launching device is a convertible laptop that can be transitioned into a tablet from a laptop with the help of a flexible hinge. It comes with a detachable keyboard as well.
A sneak peek into Dell’s XPS 13 2 in 1
For a refreshed XPS 13 2 1, it looks like Dell will be directly aiming at Microsoft’s Surface Pro. This new model comes with a 13-inch display. Of course, you can transfer it to Canvas or a laptop by adding additional accessories like a stylus or keyboard attachments.
The 360-degree hinge on the XPS 13 2-in-1 is replaced with an XPS 13 Folio keyboard shell. It allows it to snap onto the bottom edge and props the tablet up to one of three supported angles: 100 degrees, 112.5 degrees, or 125 degrees.

Specialized features that are offered
In its kind, the XPS 13 2 1 is the only device that supports 5G connectivity along with eSIM support. Additionally, the tablet also supports Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6. It is powered by Intel’s ultra-low power chips either by 12 Gen core i5-1230U or Core i7- 1250U CPU.
Graphics are limited to integrated Iris Xe and it supports 8GB or 16GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to a 1TB PCIe SSD. The company hasn’t released any battery life ratings.

Additional features for creative users
The device is provided with an optional XPS stylus. By attaching the magnet to the top of the device, it charges. It recharges in less than two hours and also lasts for about 50 days on a single charge. It is solely designed for left-handed and right-handed users.
This 13-inch device comes with a 3:2 aspect ratio and with a 2880×1920 pixel display. Along with this, the hopes for the device rise as the device supports DisplayHDR 400 and reaches 500 nits.

The tablet/laptop is available in two colors: Sky (light blue) and Slate (dark blue maybe), and it comes with tiny display bezels that allow for an edge-to-edge display. It weighs between 1.6 to 1.8 pounds which solely depends on the model (Wi-Fi vs. 5G).
The measurements of the slates are given as -11.5 x 7.9 x 0.31 inches. Apart from this, the additional weight is also added with the attachment of Folio which makes the weight of the Dell device nearly about 3 pounds.
