The new feature provides users with greater flexibility and convenience, especially for brief interactions or temporary communications, like connecting with a business or unknown contacts. It also simplifies the process of making calls directly within the app. Today I am explaining to you WhatsApp’s upcoming in-app dialer feature. The new in-app dialer feature may expand the app’s functionality from a standard voice and video calling platform and even allow the users to call unsaved contacts. It may mimic an actual calling service.

Phone calls made through WhatsApp use internet data instead of traditional cellular networks to make them more cost-effective, especially for international calls. The in-app dialer is also protected with end-to-end encryption which will also extend to voice calls and video calls.

The in-app dialer feature is currently under development. However, the meta-owned messaging app will soon release the in-app dialer for Android beta testers.
