WhatsApp new Report status update
WhatsApp has already a new to report messages and users can use this feature to report unwanted messages that may violate the Terms of Service and are inappropriate for them. Now it is developing a new feature to report status updates that allow users to report inappropriate status updates.

As you can see in the given image, it is planning to add the new Report button within the status options to report the status updates. You can tap on the Report button to report the status updates that are not suitable for you.
When you want to report a status update then the content will be forwarded to the moderation team to review to determine if that status update violates the Company’s Terms of Service. The new Report status updates feature is currently under development. But WhatsApp will soon release the ability to report status updates for Android beta users.

WhatsApp has already started working on the same Report feature for Desktop beta users in December. Users will be also able to report the status updates on the Desktop. Report status updates for Desktop users are currently under development. But WhatsApp will soon release new Report status updates for Desktop beta users.
