Jio 5G will be available in Pune starting on November 23. Jio subscribers in the area are welcome to take advantage of the Jio Welcome Offer to enjoy True 5G. According to the top telecom provider, Pune residents will receive unlimited 5G data and Internet speeds of up to 1 Gigabit per second (Gbps).

According to a statement released by Jio on Wednesday, beta testing of its True 5G network only starts in a city once a sizable portion of it is covered by its standalone True 5G network. This is done to ensure that Jio customers receive adequate coverage and have access to the most cutting-edge Jio 5G network.

Pune is an excellent choice for telecom firms to expand Jio 5G internet services because it is a city with a high concentration of students and a significant IT cluster. Additionally, it is one of the biggest manufacturing and car hubs in the nation. Therefore, Jio’s decision to roll out 5G throughout the city was a sensible one. It was inevitable that Airtel will follow suit. Jio claims that Pune residents will benefit greatly from its True 5G network.

According to a Jio spokesperson who reacted to the announcement,

“Following the launch of Jio True 5G in 12 cities, a large number of Jio users signed up for the Jio Welcome Offer, thereby helping Jio develop the most advanced 5G (fifth generation cellular) system anywhere in the world with customer and service feedback.

This means that data usage on Jio’s True 5G network is significantly higher than on Jio’s current 4G network. This is to be expected.

Since the launch of True-5G in Delhi NCR, only Jio offers telecom services (Standalone 5G). Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad are just a few of the major cities where the service is offered. Many Jio subscribers are currently on unlimited internet plans with speeds over 1Gbps as part of the Jio welcome promotion.

Reliance Jio does not rely on the current 4G architecture because it uses the standalone 5G network. Jio also provides the best and broadest combination of the 5G spectrum, including bands within the 700 MHz, 3500 MHz, and 26 GHz bands.

In regions where it is available, Jio 5G has claimed remarkable speeds. According to a recent Ookla report, Jio’s 5G network in Delhi saw median download speeds of around 600 Mbps, while India’s overall 5G speed reached 500 Mbps as the nation rolled out 5G services.
