WhatsApp is releasing a new option the chat transfer for some beta users. The new chat transfer option allows users to migrate their chat history without backup their chat history to google drive. The new chat transfer option is available within the WhatsApp settings.
Users have to open WhatsApp then go to the settings and then go to the chat option to see the new chat transfer option that allows them to migrate their chat history to their new Android device.
Users have to select the chat transfer option to migrate their chat history to a new Android device. When they select the option then they have to scan the provided QR code to initiate the process to migrate their chat history to a new Android device.
The new chat transfer option is currently rolling out for some beta testers. The ability to transfer chat history to a new Android device without backup to Google Drive is available on Android beta version 2.23.9.19.
