WhatsApp is working on a new feature for more privacy for the user chat. The new Disappearing mode feature is chats and groups for their more privacy. The Disappearing mode turns on the disappearing messages in all of your threads so your WhatsApp experience becomes ephemeral. Disappearing mode automatically enables the Disappearing messages to feature in the new chat.

This feature is part of the Disappearing Messages feature of WhatsApp. users’ new chat will start with the Disappearing message feature ON once they have enabled this feature on their WhatsApp account. Users’ new chat will also get the notification that the Disappearing messages feature is ON their chat.
