The new associate email address to the account feature has been discovered on the iOS beta version 23.24.70. The meta-owned messaging app lets users associate their email address with their account where they will get a 6-digit code. It is an extra access method to log into their WhatsApp account in case they may face temporary difficulties receiving the 6-digit code via SMS.
The new feature to associate an email address with their accounts is currently rolling out for the iOS beta testers. This feature is available on WhatsApp for iOS beta version 23.24.70.
