Snapchat is introducing its new premium package. This paid subscription service is going to be called Snapchat plus. This has now become a convention that adding plus is giving new wings to the old body. Of course, this will add extra charges. This has become a universally well-reciprocated strategy.

What is the agenda of the company?

This newly attached feature was first reported through Twitter by the app developer and researcher Alessandro Paluzzi this Thursday. He stated that Snapchat is gradually shifting to the paid service which would include extra services as well.

But are the users ready to change their way? The spokesperson Liz Markman of Snapchat has confirmed this news too. She said that Snapchat is testing this paid special feature. She also confirmed the name Snapchat+.

“We’re doing early internal testing of Snapchat Plus, a new subscription service for Snap chatters. We’re excited about the potential to share exclusive, experimental, and pre-release features with our subscribers, and learn more about how we can best serve our community,” said Liz Markman.

What is the Snapchat plus new paid subscription service?

In this new version of Snapchat, as Paluzzi said, the users have to avail some new features through some payments. People can pin one friend to another, people can avail some new snap chat icons, they will get a subscriber’s badge, and the users can see how many re-watches occurred in a snapchat story too.

Upon sharing a location, your friend can see your location for 24 hours long. This paid Snapchat app feature is giving early access to these features to premium users. Though the company till now has not specifically said about the features and the experiences the users are going to be awarded this.

How much will this Snapchat plus cost?

According to the Snapchat officials, this service will cost €4.59 ($4.83/£3.92) per month or €45.99 ($48.39/£39.28) per year. This feature might be able to give some my-face vibes to the users.

As the company is suggesting that Snapchat is now growing faster with their subscription than other social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter. With this, the company wants to boost their revenue as well. And with this huge bulk of subscribers, the company wants to create a financial alibi too.

All these years, as the company reported, have focused on making subscribers. Now the goal has been achieved, they are focusing on the premium experiences of their users even if that would cost money.
