The meta-owned messaging app is currently developing a new section that lets users configure their passkey. Users will be able to configure their own passkey in this section. The new passkey configuration will enhance the login process for users and eliminate the need for the 6-digit code to access their WhatsApp account.

They will be able to log into their accounts by using their existing authentication methods, such as Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode once the users configure the passkey. The passkeys give users a secure and easy way to log back into their accounts. They can access their WhatsApp account the same way they unlock their phone.
The passkey feature will add an additional layer of security and convenience to users’ accounts by eliminating the necessity for a 6-digit code every time users access their accounts.
