The new Newsletter feature discovers on WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.23.5.3. This feature is really called Newsletter or a codename or whatever the final name of this feature is. The Newsletter feature will be an easier way for people to receive information from people and groups.

The one-to-many tool for broadcasting information will help people to subscribe to their favorite broadcasters. Users will be able to choose who they want to hear from and follow broadcasters of their choice within WhatsApp.

The Newsletter feature will allow people to send a large number of people. This newsletter is not protected from end-to-end encryption. However, the phone number of those users who create and subscribe to a newsletter is always hidden and masked for users’ Privacy consent.

It is said that this new feature will be a separate and optional section within the Status tab which is separate from individual or group chats. It is hard to provide end-to-end encryption for this tool because of its nature to transmit information to undefined and large numbers of users.

The Newsletters also come with handles which means that users can easily find and join the Newsletters by searching for them using a username within WhatsApp. There are no ads for this feature at this moment.

Newsletters have been built with privacy in mind, the phone numbers and personal information are always hidden and masked by default. The New Newsletters feature is currently under development but it will soon release for users.
