Samsung has launched a new Galaxy M-series phone in India, the Galaxy M53 5G. The phone joins a flood of Galaxy A devices that Samsung just announced. It comes with a 120Hz display, 108MP cameras, and other standout features. Here’s a list of them all.

Price and Availability of the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G

The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G costs Rs 26,499 for the 6GB+128GB variation and Rs 28,499 for the 8GB+128GB model. Starting April 29, the smartphone will be available for purchase through Amazon India, the company’s online shop, and key retail outlets.

If you use ICICI Bank cards, you can get a Rs 2,500 instant discount, and if you use a current Galaxy M phone, you can get an additional Rs 2,000 discount.

The new Samsung Galaxy M53 is available in blue (as opposed to the worldwide variant) and green colors. However, the brown colorway will not be available in India.

Specifications and Features of the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G

The Galaxy M53 looks similar to the Galaxy A73, however, there are a few noticeable differences. To begin with, the design is unique. It has a gradient back panel and a square-shaped rear camera hump. It has a 7.4mm thickness, indicating that it would be a tiny smartphone. A 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the display on the front.

The phone is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, which is the first time it has appeared in a Samsung phone. The M53 phone has up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone’s storage can be upgraded up to 1TB, and expandable RAM may be added for a total of 16GB of RAM. As a reminder, the worldwide variant was only available in a single 6GB+128GB configuration.

Camera and Battery

The 108MP primary camera on the rear of the Galaxy M53 5G is another feature. The new M53 phone has an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. Object Eraser, Photo Remaster, Background Blur (particularly for video calls), and other interesting and useful functions are included. The front camera on the M53 phone is 32 megapixels.

There’s a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W quick charging to keep things running. It’s a 5G phone with Dolby Atmos, a vapor cooling chamber, an Auto-Data Switching function for simple switching between the two SIMs, Samsung Knox support, and biometric verification through a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Faces Unlock, as everyone knows.

During video calls, it also offers the Voice Focus feature, which reduces background noise. Samsung One UI 4.0 is installed on the Galaxy M53 5G, which is based on Android 12.
