Meta has finally implemented the new changes for Threads users regarding their account deletion. Users can now finally delete their Thread account separately from their Instagram profile.

Delete Threads Account Separately from Instagram
Adam Mosseri, the CEO of Instagram has made the announcement on the Threads platform that two new updates are coming based on feedback from the Threads Community. One of them is that users can finally delete their Threads account separately from their Instagram Profile.
Users have now better control of their online presence on the Instagram and Threads platform with the new ability to delete their Threads account without removing their Instagram. They can easily choose between deactivating or deleting their profile without affecting their Instagram profile.
To delete your account you have to open the Threads app and go to the settings. After this tap on the account option then go to the Delete or Deactivate profile. In the Deactivate or Delete section, there will be three options “Deactivating your profile is temporary”, “Deleting your profile is permanent”, and “Only applies to your Threads profile.”
