WhatsApp is releasing the first in-app shopping feature. It is the first end-to-end in-app shopping experience. It is releasing the new in-app shopping feature with a partnership with JioMart. Users can easily create orders from the JioMart catalog. As you can see in the given image some users can already create the orders in the JioMart catalog.
After the order creation, all the products will be added immediately to the user’s personal cart. Once the items are added to the personal cart then the user can easily and securely make the payments without leaving WhatsApp using the WhatsApp UPI Payments feature.
Mark Zuckerberg announced the new in-app shopping feature to start shopping on JioMart and make a payment securely within the chat using WhatsApp UPI payment. Mar Zuckberg defines business messaging as an area with real momentum. He said, “chat-based experiences like this will be the go-to way people and businesses communicate in the year to come”.
The in-app shopping feature is currently rolling out in WhatsApp’s latest version for Android, iOS, and Desktop for some people.
