WhatsApp released the ability to move or transfer chat history from Android to iOS devices using the Move to iOS app in July. The Move to iOS app allows users to transfer their chat history without losing chat history when they switch to a different phone. Now WhatsApp is working on the new option to transfer the chat history to a new Android device.
As you can see in the given image, there will be a new option “Chat transfer to Android” within the WhatsApp Chat section in Settings. Users can now migrate their chat history from a phone to a new Android device. They may not need to back up their chat history on Google Drive before switching to a new Android device.
