This feature is tested for Android users and allows users to migrate their chat history from Android to iOS. WhatsApp has already tested this feature for iOS users. According to the WaBetaInfo, the WhatsApp Android beta version 2.21.9.7 update shows on the screenshot that the company is working on the process of importing chat history. There is no more information on what method the company will use to transfer the chat to cross-platform, WABetaInfo says. However, it seems that the company will use Google Drive to store the chat history for a moment to import to WhatsApp for Android.

WhatsApp earlier said using third-party apps to migrate chat history across the two platforms violates its Terms of Service.
