Oppo’s latest Reno series smartphones are ready to debut in China. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has revealed that the Oppo Reno 8 series will be released in China on May 23. Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, Reno 8 Lite, and Reno 8 SE smartphones are expected to be released by the firm. The next smartphones have been listed on Oppo’s China online shop ahead of their official debut.
Three smartphone versions are listed on the website: Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 Pro+. According to the official listing, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ has a design that is identical to the Oppo Find X5 series. The smartphone is 7.34mm thick and has a punch-hole display, according to reports.
The Oppo Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro, on the other hand, have a design that is similar to Realme’s 9 lines of smartphones. The Oppo Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 Pro+ are believed to have a quad-camera arrangement, while the Oppo Reno 8 is expected to have a triple-camera setup.

The three handsets are expected to be available in two configurations: 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. Black, blue, and gradient colour options are claimed to be available for the Oppo Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro. The Oppo Reno 8 Pro+, on the other hand, is rumoured to be available in silver.
Expected Specs of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro and SE Model
According to the source, the Oppo Reno 8 smartphone would be available in three colour options: Slightly Drunk, Encounter Blue, and Night Tour Black. A 6.62-inch Full HD+ E4 OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate could be included in the device. This smartphone will most likely be powered by a new Snapdragon CPU, which will be released on May 20.

The new chipset is expected to be known as the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile platform, and the Oppo Reno 8 will be the first smartphone to feature it. The smartphone is also expected to include a 4500mAh battery with 80W fast charging capabilities.
The Oppo Reno 8 Pro is said to include a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max processor is expected to power this smartphone, which will also include a 4500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. Xiaoyao Green, Roaming Gray, and Dark Black are the three colours expected for this gadget.
Meanwhile, the SE model is expected to include a 6.43-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor is believed to power the Oppo Reno 8 SE, which could potentially include a 4500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. Slightly Drunk, Clear Sky Blue and Night Tour Black are rumoured to be the colour options available for this handset.
