Reliance Jio has launched the Happy New Year 2024 prepaid plan in India. This New Year plan is the revamp of one of their annual prepaid plans with an extra validity of 24 days. The annual prepaid plan of Rs 2,999 effectively came down from Rs 8.21 per day to Rs 7.70 per day with the new changes.

Jio Happy New Year 2024 Prepaid Plan
Jio explained on this website that the prepaid plan of Rs 2,999 will come with a 24-day validity that allows the plan to continue for an additional 24 days after its usual 365 days validity runs out, which means users will get a total of 389 days of validity with this plan.
This plan offers 2.5GB per day 4G internet data and a validity of 365 days. After the use of 2.5GB of data, the speed of the internet is reduced to 64kbps. Reliance Jio also offers unlimited 5G data to eligible customers as part of the Jio Welcome offer.

This new year prepaid plan of Rs 2,999 offers unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. It offers 2.5GB per day which means a total of Rs 912.5GB of internet data. Jio is also offering free subscriptions to JioCinema, JioTV, and JioCloud. However, this prepaid plan does not offer a premium JioCinema Premium membership, so users have to separately purchase it for Rs 1,499.
The Jio Happy New Year prepaid plan will be available from 20 December 2023 but does not mention the last date. Users can buy this Happy New Year prepaid plan via the MyJio application and Jio official website prepaid plan.
