Instagram making the changes on story share sheets. It is working on the redesigned story share sheet. It will add the three options Your Story, Close Friends, and Message on the share sheet.
- Your Story: You can share story to your story directly.
- Close Friends: This option lets users share a story with their close friends.
- Message: You can message the story to your chats.

Currently, when tap on the share option to share your story you will see three options You Story, Close Friends, and your chats or contacts in the messages section. You can tap on the share option beside the chats to share the story with that chats.
But the new redesign will show you the messages option. You have to tap on the messages option and then select the chat with whom you want to share the story. This feature is currently under development and it will roll out soon for users.
