The new Jump Ahead button allows subscribers to skip to the best parts of a video by tapping on this button. This feature usages Google’s machine learning and viewers’ data to determine the key moment of the video. Currently, it is only available in the US for Android users.
The picture-in-picture mode is the existing feature that allows users to watch the current video in a small floating window, available for long-form content. But now the pip mode is available for YouTube Shorts to watch Shorts while using other apps or messaging. Unfortunately, the way to scroll to other shorts is unavailable but will soon be available for users.
