WhatsApp is using the Material 3 design to tweak the app user interface and improve the app to align with the latest UI trends. The meta-owned messaging app WhatsApp will soon release the material you toggles design to align with the latest UI trend that gives a modern aesthetic and appealing look to the app.

The new switch UI material design 3 has been discovered on the Android beta version 2.23.12.3. In this new update, it has been discovered that the meta-owned messaging app is working on bringing the Material You toggle for Android users and offering a sneak peek of the new upcoming Material You toggles.
When you turn off the toggle then the switch has a light gray outline and indicator. When you turn on the toggle then the outline will disappear and the switch body will be filled in with WhatsApp’s signature green color. Also, the toggle itself turns dark gray when the toggle is on. The visual appearance could vary slightly when the light mode is enabled.
