WhatsApp is releasing a new feature for Status updates for Desktop beta. It is releasing the new view status updates within the chat list. Users can now view the status updates within the chat list. They don’t need to go to the status updates section to view the status update. They can now directly view the status updates within the chat list.
As you can see in the given image, It is releasing a new feature that allows users to view status updates within the chat list. Users will see the status updates indicator when their contacts updates their status and they can view status updates within the chat list.
Users will see a ring around their contacts’ profile photo within the chat list that indicates their contacts updated their status. You will see the ring around your contacts’ profile photo when this feature is enabled in your account. You have to tap on the profile photo and see the status updates within the chat list.
Currently, users see the point in the status section that indicates users that their contacts have updated their status. If you don’t see the ring around your contacts’ profile photo that means this feature is not available for your account.
The new ability to view status updates within the chat list is released for the Desktop beta users. The new view status updates within the chat list feature are available on the Desktop beta version 2.2246.6.
