It is also working on the New Flash Call. This new feature allows users to verify their phone numbers automatically when they try to log into WhatsApp. It will ask users for new permission to access their phone’s call log. It will verify automatically if you have received the call that would give you access to your WhatsApp account once you grant the permission to the app to see your call logs.

The app will call you on your phone number and end the call automatically, verifying if it’s present in the call log so it’s really a fast call.
