- Immediately go to WhatsApp and head over to the “Updates” tab.
- Now, click on “Add Status” and the object you want to put as a status update ( photo or video).
- Now, you will see a music icon at the top.
- Search for a song or pick from the list.
- Choose a specific part of the song.
- Tap “Done” and press send to post.
As of now, one can put 15 seconds of music for photo statuses. Whereas video status will be served 60 seconds of music. The feature is currently not available for text, GIF, or voice statuses.
