Instagram has rolled out the new add Lyrics to Reels feature. Users can now add song lyrics to their reels and create more attractive reel videos. The new add lyrics to reels feature is another way of making things interactive for users.

Instagram’s new Song Lyrics to Reels feature
Adam Mosseri, the Head of Instagram made the announcement about the new feature via the Broadcast Channel. The Reels creator will get the option to add lyrics to a song they have chosen while they are creating and editing a reel. Instagram has already a similar feature available for Stories.
Users can choose to add the lyrics while adding the music to their Story. They can also choose various music player styles in case lyrics are not required. The new ability to add the lyrics to their reels is currently rolling out for some beta users. But the meta-owned photo-sharing app will soon rollout the new feature to add lyrics to reels for everyone on Android and iOS.
How to add song lyrics to reel
To add the lyrics to your reels, you have to open Instagram and tap on the Reels icon at the bottom of the screen. After this, tap on the Music icon at the top of the screen and choose the song for your reel from the library or your own audio. Now tap on the Lyrics icon at the bottom and choose a font and a color for the lyrics text.
Here, you can drag the text to the desired position and select the portion or part of the lyrics you want to display on your reels using the slider. Once you are done, tap on the Done button, edit your reels, and share it as usual.
