WhatsApp Pinned Messages feature
The new ability to pin messages in individual chats and groups has been discovered in WhatsApp for iOS beta version 23.23.1.73. Users can pin the message to keep the important messages within easy reach. They can pin the selected message to the top of their conversation to highlight the important or frequently referenced messages.
The meta-owned messaging app also offers the users control over the pinned messages and how long a message remains prominently displayed in their chats. There are three durations 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days for pinned messages. However, users can dismiss a pinned message at any time, even before the chosen duration elapses.
The new ability to pin messages in individual chats and groups is currently rolling out for some iOS beta testers. This feature is available on WhatsApp for iOS beta version 23.23.1.73. However, the meta-owned messaging app will soon roll out the new pin message feature for more users.
