To save the Instagram reels you have to first select the reel video that you want to save on your device. Tap on the share button once you select the reel and tap on the Add to Your Story option. The reel video will open in your story section once you select Add to Your Story option and you have to adjust the size of the reel.

If you want to save the reel in short size with the story background then leave it to the default size. Use your two fingers to zoom the reel video and adjust it to full story size. Once you are done, tap on the three dots then tap on the Save option.

Instagram reel video will be downloaded to your device automatically. The Instagram reel will be saved on your device with audio. You can open your gallery to see the saved reel video. The reel will be saved to your device gallery with audio, watermark, and creator name. You can remove the name from the reel video by adjusting the size.
