Apple has finally launched the Apple TV Plus app for Android. Now, Android users can stream Apple Originals on their smartphones. The app is available on Google Play Store for download.
However, the rollout is happening in phases globally. Users can subscribe to Apple TV Plus from the app itself. The service includes a seven-day free trial for first-time users.

Apple TV Plus now works on Android smartphones and tablets. Earlier, Android users had to access it via a browser. The app provides a seamless experience with several features.

- Offline Viewing: Download content and watch without an internet connection.
Users can also subscribe to Apple TV Plus directly from the app. However, they cannot buy or rent movies like on Apple devices. The app is optimized for foldable Android phones for a better experience. Apple has not yet shared an official statement on the app rollout.
Apple TV Plus Subscription and Pricing
It is available at an affordable price for users. The monthly subscription costs Rs. 99 per month in India. First-time users get a seven-day free trial before payment. Users can share their subscriptions with four family members.
Apple TV Plus provides access to many popular shows and movies. Some exclusive titles include:

- Slow Horses
- CODA
- The Morning Show
- Ted Lasso
Apart from Apple Originals, the app offers access to Major League Soccer (MLS). Users can subscribe to the MLS Season Pass from the app. The MLS subscription costs:
- Rs. 1,299 per month for regular access.
- Rs. 7,000 for the entire season.
MLS matches feature top football players like Lionel Messi. The MLS season starts in late February and ends in mid-October.
Apple Expands Services to Android Users
Apple has been increasing its services for Android users. Previously, only Apple Music and Apple Music Classical were available. The Apple TV Plus app now adds more value for Android users.
Apple also introduced a purchase migration feature for iOS users. This feature allows users to transfer purchases between Apple accounts. It helps users manage multiple accounts for different purchases. Earlier, Apple only supported Family Sharing for purchase access.
