WhatsApp working on new Voice Status updates feature
WhatsApp is developing the new feature Voice Status updates. You will be able to post their voice Status update. You can post the short voice notes to your status. The Voice Notes status updates will be shared with your Contacts based on your privacy settings (My Contacts, My Contacts except, and Only Share with).
As you can see in the given image, the user interface for voice status updates is very similar to the text status composer interface. The Voice note recorder is moved to the text status composer to upload the voice status updates. You can record your voice note with the help of the mic to upload voice status updates.
You can select the background color for the voice notes and record the voice notes to post the voice status updates. It will show as a message bubble. The Voice note is automatically played every time you open the voice status update. You can post the voice note for up to 30 seconds and it is protected by end-to-end encryption.
The new Voice Status feature is currently under development. But WhatsApp will soon release the new Voice Note Status updates feature.
