WhatsApp working on a new Verified Badges channel
The meta-owned messaging app is working on improving verification for channels specifically for business. It is planning to replace the green verification badge with a blue checkmark for verified channels and businesses. This will standardize the verification badge color across all Meta apps, as the verification checkmark (Blue Tick) is blue on both Instagram and Facebook.
The meta-owned messaging app is also working on a new screen for businesses that allows them to add a verified badge to their channels. Businesses will be able to get a verified badger for their channels by subscribing to Meta Verified.

When the Businesses subscribe to Meta Verified that will give them a verification badge for their profile and other advantages.
