As per the WABetaInfo, the feature tracker of WhatsApp, the meta-owned messaging app is releasing a new feature that allows users to share status updates from a Companion device (Secondary device). The new feature has been discovered on WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.24.1.4.
Users can now share images, videos, GIFs, text, and Voice messages through status updates using the new feature which provides them with a significant step forward in the way they communicate with their contacts from a companion device.
The new ability to share status updates from companion devices is currently under development. This feature is available in the Android beta version 2.24.1.4. However, the meta-owned messaging app will soon release a new feature to share status updates for more people.
