WhatsApp is releasing the new version of the View Once feature to prevent screenshots and screen recording for View Once images and videos. Users won’t be able to take screenshots to view once images and screen recording to view once videos when you send media using the view once feature.

As you can see in the given image, Users are not able to take screenshots to view once images and screen recordings to view once videos. The given image is black because when users try to bypass the security policy and take screenshots the image will be black. Normally users are not able to take screenshots and screen recordings to view once images and videos.

But some users use the third-party extension to bypass WhatsApp security policy to take screenshots. Even after using the third-party extension, they won’t be able to take screenshots because the image will be black.

The recipient won’t get notifications when someone takes screenshots of their images. But the screenshots attempt will immediately be blocked. Also, the screen recording attempt will immediately be blocked by default. You won’t be able to export, save, or forward the View once images and videos
