Telegram’s New Custom Notification Sounds feature

Telegram is rolling out a new feature that allows users to turn any sound into a notification tone. Users are able to create custom notification alerts tone from their favorite music. Users can tap on a short audio file or voice message in their chat to instantly add it to their notification sounds. They can add any sounds from their phone to turn into their notification alert.

To add the custom notification sounds users have to open the Telegram app and go to the settings option. After this go to the notifications and Sounds option. Tap on the add new tones option and set your sounds for individual chats or all groups chats. Currently, Telegram support 300 KB size audio files, and voice message and sounds or voice message should be in under 5 seconds.

To convert any sound into a notification or create a custom alert from your favorite music, you have to go to your chat. After this tap on the chat profile picture then tap on the mute option. After tapping on the mute option you have to tap on the customize option then tap on the Upload sound. Select your sounds from your phone to upload them for custom notification. After uploading the sound you have to tap on the sound and tap on the Done option. Now your custom notification alert is set for your chat.
