Realme debuted the Realme Q5i in China on 19 April 2022, while the Q5 series, which includes the Realme Q5 Pro and the basic Q5, was launched yesterday in the company’s home market China. Let me tell you, this device is something up to the next level with Snapdragon CPUs, and expandable RAM (5GB).

Specifications and Features of the Realme Q5 Pro

Starting with the Realme Q5 Pro, the rear camera module has a Realme GT 2-like design. The smartphone comes with a 64MP primary lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. It has a 6.62-inch AMOLED display. It has a 16MP punch-hole selfie camera in the upper left corner. The panel boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a fingerprint scanner on the bottom.

The Snapdragon 870 chipset powers the Realme Q5 Pro, which combined with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. A 5,000mAh battery is also included, which supports the company’s 80W rapid charging technology.

The device comes pre-installed with Realme UI 3.0, which is based on Android 12. It also has a cooling system, Dolby Atmos compatibility, and other features.

Specs & Features of the Realme Q5

The vanilla Realme Q5 is a tamer variant of the Realme Q5i and a beefed-up version of the Realme Q5i. It has a design similar to the Realme 9 and a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

A 16MP punch-hole front camera, similar to the Q5 Pro, is available in the top left corner. However, there is a triple-camera arrangement in the back, with a 50MP main lens and two 2MP sensors for macro and portrait pictures.

The Snapdragon 695 SoC is found within the Realme Q5, along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There’s also a 5,000mAh battery with 60W quick charging capabilities and a fingerprint sensor on the side. Realme Q5 comes in three colors: Black, Gold, and Silver. The smartphone runs Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 out of the box. The pricing of the various storage options is given below.

Availability and Price

The Realme Q5 Pro is available in black and costs CNY 1,899 (Rs 22,600) for the base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. However, the gadget is available in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations for CNY 2,099 (Rs 24,990) and CNY 2,299 (Rs 27,849), respectively. The white and yellow color schemes, as well as a checkered back panel design, are available on these higher-storage variants.

The 6GB+128GB model costs CNY 1,399 (Rs 16,629). The 8GB+128GB model costs CNY 1,599 (Rs 18,999), and the 8GB+256GB model costs CNY 1,799 (Rs 21,399).

The Realme Q5 series Q5 Pro and Realme Q5 will both be available for purchase on April 27. The gadgets are currently available for pre-order on Realme’s official website in China. There’s no information on whether they’ll be available in other areas.
