Airtel launching 5G telecom services in eight cities including four metros and it will cover the entire Country by March 2024. Airtel Chairman Mittal said, “It’s an important day. A new era is about to begin. This beginning is taking place in the 75th year of Independence and will begin a new awareness and energy in the country. It will open several new opportunities for people” at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022 at Pragati Maidan.
Sunil Bharti Mittal said that the Airtel 5G will go live in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Varanasi, and four other cities including the metros. He has not revealed the name of the four other cities. The Airtel 5G service is rollout for 8 cities but it will cover all Urban areas by March 2023. It will cover the entire Country by March 2024.
