Xiaomi launched the new Xiaomi 18 Fold phone in China. To compete with the passport-style foldable phone, Xiaomi also adopted the same design style. It comes with a 5.02 mm thin body, a new Xring O3 processor, a 200MP camera, a 6,000mAh battery, and more.
Xiaomi 18 Fold Phone Specifications and Features
The new Xiaomi 18 Fold features a wider folding profile. The Chassis is made of aluminium, and the back is made of glass. It is built with a redesigned keel hinge, and the chassis measures just 5.02mm unfolded and 10.68 mm folded.
It features a 5.38-inch AMOLED exterior display and a 7.58-inch AMOLED display after unfolding, with a 120 Hz refresh rate on both displays. The exterior display is protected by Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0, and the inner display is made using a double-layer Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) and has a peak brightness of 4000 nits.
It comes with a triple-camera setup, including a 200MP Leica Summilux Primary camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor with OIS, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. There is a 16MP selfie shooter on both the front cover and the internal screen.
It is powered by the new Xring O3 chipset, which features a 10-core CPU paired with a 16-core G2-Ultra NX graphics unit. It has up to 16GB of LPDDR5X/LPDDR6 RAM (higher version only) and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. This phone runs on HyperOS 4 based on Android 17.
It is backed up by a 6,000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery with 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support. It comes in four color options: Black, White, Warm Gold, and Shining Red, and also a Ceramic Special Edition.
For Connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, Ultra Wideband, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port for charging and display output.
Xiaomi 18 Fold Phone Price and Availability
The Xiaomi 18 Fold starts at 10,999 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 1,55,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB Storage Variant. The 16GB RAM + 1TB Storage variant costs 14,999 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 2,11,000).
The pre-order for the Xiaomi 18 Fold is live on the Official Xiaomi China Storefront and will go on open sale starting September 10, 2026.
