WhatsApp is working on the new feature for the Status Privacy Settings feature. It is working on this shortcut when the users edit the recipients of their status updates. It is already working on the edit recipients feature before sending media.

Also, it is releasing a newly redesigned caption bar with the edit recipients feature. Users can easily set the status updates from the redesigned caption bar.
