WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature called Voice Chat Actions. Users can now quickly start a voice chat within their groups. The voice chat is a group call feature that allows group members to join and speak without notifying others through ringing in the group.

The meta-owned messaging app is releasing a new feature to quickly start a voice chat within groups. The ability to start a voice chat within the groups has been discovered on WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.24.25.22. Before this feature, users need to open the group chat info screen or select the action from the top app bar to place a voice chat.
With the new feature and update, the meta-owned messaging app is introducing a floating action button positioned just above the message send button that enhances the visibility of the feature and ensures that all group members are aware of the new feature.

Group members have to scroll up the floating action button to start the voice chat conversation within a group. Once the user completes the gesture, the voice chat will automatically begin and enhance the process further.
One of the important things is to note that the meta-owned messaging app is also extending the availability of voice chat to more groups. With that, you can easily initiate discussion without interruption in larger group settings.
Additionally, it works seamlessly with other WhatsApp functionalities. Users can continue chatting or sharing media while participating in a voice chat. This feature-capability of multitasking makes it more splendidly practical.
