WhatsApp is rolling out the new View Status updates from the Conversation screen feature. Users can now see the status updates of the recipient in the conversations screen.

The new feature has been discovered on the Android beta version 2.23.24.23. The meta-owned messaging app will highlight the status updates within the conversation. Users don’t need to open the Updates tab to view the status update. The Meta-owned messaging app eliminates the necessity to pen the Updates tab for viewing status updates.
The status ring now appears around the profile photo within the top app bar which makes this new feature even more convenient for users to view the status updates from the conversation screen. Users can quickly view the status updates from their contacts when opening a conversation with them by tapping on the profile icon at the top of the left corner.
The new ability to view status updates from the conversation screen is currently rolling out for some beta testers. The new view status updates from the conversation screen feature are available on the Android beta version 2.23.24.23.
