WhatsApp is releasing the new privacy settings option to hide personal information. It is releasing the new Privacy settings My Contacts Except that allow users to hide their personal information from a specific contact. Users can hide the profile photo, About Us, and Last Seen from the Specific contact. They can easily exclude specific contacts if they don’t want to show their personal information.
If you exclude any contact then they won’t be able to see your personal information like your profile photo, About, and Last seen. The new Advance Privacy settings give users more control to manage who can see their personal information. The new Advance Privacy setting My Contacts Except is available in the Privacy Settings section. Users can select the My Contacts Except option to exclude specific contact in the Privacy setting section.
When you exclude the specific contact then they won’t be able to see your last seen but you also won’t be able to see their last seen. But you can see your contact Profile photo and About even you exclude your contacts to hide your Profile Photo and About. The new My Contacts Except Advanced Privacy Setting is rolling out for Android beta version 2.22.8.9.
