WhatsApp is working on a new feature called Recent History Sharing. The new Recent history-sharing feature allows new group members to access messages sent in the group 24 hours prior to their joining.
Today I am explaining to you about the WhatsApp new Recent History sharing. You have to read this post till the end to know more about the new Recent History sharing feature.
WhatsApp’s Recent History Sharing feature
WhatsApp new ability to share recent history has been discovered on the Android beta version 184.108.40.206. It will automatically share messages sent in the group 24 hours before someone new joins the group. The group admins will only be able to access the new recent history-sharing feature.
When the group admin turns on this feature once it is released in the future, all the group members will always be notified within the group chat with the dedicated message event. The group members will be able to read the messages that were shared before they joined the group.
This new feature is really very helpful to new group members when they join any group. When someone joins a new group, they might not understand the context of the new messages, especially if previous messages were sent before they joined the group.
The recent history-sharing feature is currently under development. However, the meta-owned messaging app will soon release the recent history-sharing feature for Android beta users.
