Users can add a custom description for their forwarded images by removing the current caption. They have to remove the current caption in order to add the custom description to their forwarded images, videos, GIFs, and Documents.
The new add description feature to forwarded messages feature is rolling out for some Android beta users. The new description feature for forwarded messages feature is available on Android beta version 2.23.8.22.
