Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Series Specifications and Features
The new Watch 6 Series come in two size options 1.5-inch and 1.3-inch Super AMOLED Sapphire Crystal display that is a 20% larger circular display and 15% thinner bezels. These watches also come with up to 2000 nits of brightness and the Always-on-Display (AOD) functionality. The Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic offer more or less similar features and considerable differences in design.
However, The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic marks the return of rotating bezels. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic are powered by Exynos W930 dual-core chipset. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. This Samsung watches support customization watch bands, which can be chosen from over 700 combinations.
There are health monitoring features including a SpO2 monitor, an ECG sensor, improved sleep tracking, measuring the skin temperature, tracking the menstruation cycle, and a heart rate sensor, coupled with the new irregular Heart Rhythm Notification feature which keeps track of the heartbeats for Atrial fibrillation (AFib) even during sleep.
There is a Sleep Score Factor to track your total sleep time, sleep cycle, awake time, and more. The smartwatches can also change the settings of the connected devices for the perfect sleep environment.
There is a Fall Detection feature that makes emergency calls whenever the watch detects an accidental fall while sleeping or workout. There is also a new skin temperature API that uses advanced infrared technology for accurate readings. The Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic have a Body Composition feature that provides details on the skeletal muscle, basal metabolic rate, body water, and body fat percentage. There are over 100 sports modes available in these watches.
These watches come with a 300mAh battery that offers up to 40 hours of backups with WPC-based wireless charging. Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic run the latest War OS 4 with One UI 5 Watch on top.
