Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G phone in India. It is the same smartphone as the Redmi Note 15 launched in China.
It comes with a 120Hz refresh-rate display, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, a 50MP Primary sensor, a 5800mAh battery, military-grade durability, and more.
Redmi Note 15 SE Specifications and Features
Redmi Note 15 SE features a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3200 nits. It has a 240Hz touch sampling rate and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
There is a dual-camera setup, including a 50MP Primary Light Fusion and a 2MP depth camera on the back side. There is also a 20MP punch hole camera sensor selfie shooter at the front.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset paired with Adreno 710 GPU. It has up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage on board. There is a dedicated expandable microSD card slot to expand up to 1TB of storage.
It is backed up with a 5800mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. It also has 18W wired reverse charging. The new Redmi Note 15 special edition phone runs on HyperOS 2, based on Android 15.
However, Xiaomi has promised to deliver 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patch updates. It is IP65 and IP66 rated for dust and splash resistance and MIL-STD-810 military-grade durability rating. It comes in three color options: Carbon Black, Frosted White, and Distinctive Crimson (Faux-Leather Back Panel).
Price and Availability
Redmi Note 15 SE base variant 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs 19,999. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model and the 8GB RAM and 256GB mode costs Rs 21,999 and Rs 22,999, respectively.
You can buy this phone on Flipkart, Mi.com official website, and offline retail stores, starting April 7. Xiaomi is also offering an instant discount of Rs 2000 using a selected band card on the Redmi Note 15 SE phone.
